The Academic Campus manager is responsible for managing teachers, students, academic support staff, and classrooms at their campus. A strong entrepreneurial leader, the Academic Manager provides exceptional leadership, and customer service to our teachers and students, overseeing all academic processes including class changes, academic appeals, classroom standards, teacher support, communication and engagement.
Responsibilities:
Student Support :
Taking a customer-centric approach the Academic Campus Manager will be responsible for the student experience at their campus.

.Leads the Academic support team to ensure that all academic processes are customer focused, expedient and reviewed for continuous improvement
Classes :
Ensures that classrooms meet The Private Career Act standards of quality through continuous communication with teachers and academic support staff .
Teachers:
Teachers: Ensures the teachers in their assigned building (s) are well prepared, highly engaged, up to date on all academic and relevant news at City College

.Leads all daily/weekly teacher communication, support and engagement for their assigned campus. In consultation with the Academic Training and Development team, contributes to teaching quality and success through: observations, training, development and performance management
Strategic Management :
Contributes to strategic management through identifying the root causes of student related issues (class changes and academic inquires, including level progression and grade appeals) and works with the senior leadership team to recommend, implement and champion changes when required.

.Expand and maintain community partnership network, to create community participation, community services, and work, internship and job related opportunities to international students.
Requirements:
University or college degree in business, marketing, Education, Linguistics, International Relations, or relevant field, or an appropriate combination of education and experience

. 2 to 4 years of recent, successful and relevant experience in student counselling or education advising, or education relevant capacity, preferably in the Career College Education industry

.Minimum 2 years of successful managing or leadership experience, in a similar role and/or environment;

.Experience in a supervisory role and leadership roles;
5
.Strong English language skills; other language abilities is an asset.
