Job Description

Position Summary:

The role of the Campus Pastor (CP) is to oversee the life and direction of Fresh Life Lethbridge (FLL) under the direction and leadership of Bridges of Hope & Fresh Life USA (FL). This is a leadership role at a broadcast campus with minimal preaching opportunities. This role requires a firm grasp of the beliefs, values and strategy of Fresh Life and the ability to align the leadership with its mission, vision and values. The CP will offer pastoral leadership to the campus and ensure the systems, practices and policies of the church responsibly and effectively support its ministry activities. The Campus Pastor will be responsible for:

1. Modeling Biblical Priorities



Responsible for upholding Biblical priorities and core values of FL. The CP should represent a growing personal relationship with Christ. The CP models a strong relationship with his or her spouse and children. The CP strives to fulfill his or her purpose in life and ministry while demonstrating integrity in words, relationships and actions.

2. Leadership and Planning



Responsible for championing FL's vision and values at the campus location. The CP will assist in the planning and coordination in the execution of the church's mission and vision. The CP will lead the campus in accomplishing goals and action plans established by the leadership team. The CP will provide the catalyzing challenges and activities which allow FLL to remain true to its mission and vision. This leadership and input will be provided through many activities including:

Implementing collaborative leadership meetings to clarify and execute FLL goals and objectives.

Pastoral Care for Leadership Team:



Leadership Accountability Encouragement Development Monitoring and reporting the pulse of the congregation through research and evaluation of attendance, giving, small group participation, baptisms, volunteer engagement, community transformation, etc. Ensuring facilities and programs are appropriately and effectively aligned to best meet strategic goals and FLL campus constants. Assisting the leadership team with managing campus budget and providing oversight and direction in the large variety of financial functions of the church including: stewardship campaigns, cash flow, contributions, payroll, leases and budget development. Fulfilling other pastoral/administrative duties (weddings, funerals, baptisms, child dedications, counseling, etc.) or other tasks which might not be considered part of the normal job description. 3. Oversight of Campus Worship Experiences



Responsible for ensuring that all worship experiences are executed with excellence. The CP displays excellent communication skills, the ability to make sound decisions, high level networking and relational strengths that enhance each worship experience. These objectives are accomplished by:

Delivering relevant, Biblical messages when called upon. Hosting of Sunday Services Teaching and leading in small, medium and large group settings. Planning and executing worship and other creative elements to complement the teaching in each ministry environment. Overseeing the implementation of and leading when needed in the following areas:
o Children's Ministry

o Youth Ministry

o Small Groups

o Other (if applicable)

4. Volunteer Supervision and Development



Provides leadership to the campus Volunteer & Leadership teams. The CP will lead, evaluate and mentor volunteers in their respective areas of ministry and prioritize future needs.

Includes the following responsibilities:

Overseeing the campus volunteer & leadership team as it relates to day-to-day ministry and operational activities. Overseeing the training and development of campus volunteer & leadership teams. Empowering leadership and volunteers.

SPIRITUAL AND INDIVIDUAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE CAMPUS PASTOR



Your credibility and suitability for the role is defined by the following requirements after first and foremost meeting the standards of 1 Timothy 3:2-7 and Titus 1:6-9.

? Minimum of 3 years in church leadership

? Bible College or Seminary Degree preferred

Character and Personal Spiritual Requirements

1. Having received the Grace of the Lord, Lord being your helper, you devote yourself to:

a. Live a lifestyle in accordance with biblical standards as befitting the position of a Pastor.

b. Devote the whole of your time, attention, and skill during normal business hours, and at

other times as reasonably necessary, to your duties.

c. Faithfully and diligently perform the duties and exercise the powers consistent with your

position as assigned to you from time to time.

d. At all times, act to a high standard of professional behavior.

e. Not act in conflict with the best interests of the Church.

2. Being a staff member of Fresh Life Church (and or as otherwise named), the following are

necessary:

a. Relationship and commitment to Jesus Christ.

b. Total commitment to the local Church and its vision.

c. Total commitment and loyalty to the overseeing leadership of the Church, and ability to work in a team environment.

d. Spiritual maturity consisting of a pleasant, forgiving, non-judgemental, but assertive manner.

e. Initiative.

f. Confidentiality.

g. Ability to work under pressure and remain calm.

h. Ability to meet deadlines (may involve working outside of normal hours).

i. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the team, the members of

congregation, and the general public.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $60,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
