The Campaign Manager role is highly collaborative position, with a focus on Search Engine Marketing and Building Product Knowledge. This role offers opportunity for both career and skills growth based on performance and willingness to learn. This role requires diligence, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to self-manage multiple projects and timelines. You will be working alongside a team of peers with frequent opportunities for career advancement as the team grows.
In this role you will be responsible for creating and managing campaigns related to a selection of products, for which you will act as a product owner. Much of your time will be spent getting to know the product, your audience, and the key value propositions for each pairing of products and customer personas. You will also work with internal teams including product development, design, and subject matter experts to continually improve the products that you are responsible for to ensure the greatest possible value is provided to your audience.
The channels that you will utilize to promote these products may include Search Advertising, Marketplace Listing Ads, Display, Social, Video, etc... You will be constantly experimenting to find the most effective touch points along the customer journey for your specific products, and learning how to master the various tools and platforms required to effectively reach your target audience. While this role allows for multi-disciplinary growth, an intermediate to advanced proficiency with search engine marketing is the basic competency required to get started.
This is a unique opportunity to influence the holistic customer journey in a positive way through data insights, value based targeting, PPC advertising, and experimentation. The end result? Workers across Canada receive a higher standard of training, with fewer workplace injuries.
The primary competencies required to be successful in this position are as follows:

  • Meticulous attention to detail, top-notch analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Copywriting & editing
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborating with various stakeholders across cross-functional teams
  • A desire to learn and master new skills and tools
  • A desire to understand and provide value to your audience

Your role will be primarily focused on the following:
Search Engine Marketing (55%):
  • Performing market research
  • Writing ad copy
  • Building new campaigns
  • Maintaining existing campaigns
  • Working collaboratively with other SEM specialists on QA, channel strategy, and performance troubleshooting

Experimentation (30%):
  • Always be testing new variants of campaign strategies, ad copy, creative assets, etc...
  • Testing new channels, tools, and strategies to see what works for a given market segment, and what does not

Professional Development (15%)
  • Participating in Worksite Safety\'s training programs to gain first hand experience with product catalogue, market, and the problems that those products solve for our end-users
  • Continually improve your understanding & competency with mainstream advertising platforms & the various tools that they offer
  • Self-guided training on new beta programs, emerging tech, etc...

Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years hands-on experience building & maintaining PPC campaigns
  • 2+ years copywriting experience (ad copy)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • 4+ years experience with Google Analytics
  • Active Google Ads Certifications

  • Experience with YouTube Advertising
  • Experience with Amazon Advertising
  • Experience with Google Tag Manager
  • HTML/CSS/JavaScript

  • Experience in occupational health & safety or a related field
  • English/French bilingual
