THE ROLE
At VerticalScope, we are reimagining the future of online forums and are looking for a passionate Campaign Manager, to support our campaign and sales efforts and help us continue to provide outstanding service to our clients. You will rapidly acquire a thorough understanding of VerticalScope’s digital advertising offerings, systems, processes and departments. You will be responsible for ensuring the success of millions of dollars in revenue, and will gain valuable experience that will position you for future success in Ad Operations and Sales. WHAT YOU’LL DO


  • Act as the main point of contact for your clients, the Sales team, and other internal departments (e.g. Creative, Marketing, Content) regarding various campaigns to ensure successful campaign distribution
  • Traffic and manage multiple advertising campaigns across various verticals to ensure that each campaign delivers in full
  • Optimize campaigns by developing forecasting, tracking, and other analysis systems for key account metrics (e.g quarterly sales results, annual revenue forecasts) to ensure campaign success
  • Utilize the systems you’ve created to manage account performance and provide regular internal status reports
  • QA and troubleshoot all campaigns as they go live, provide technical support to investigate possible solutions when errors arise, and serve as a conduit to the IT team for any escalations
  • Maintain up-to-date understanding of site ad functionality; including knowledge of all ad products available, general availability, and performance of each unit
  • Other related ad operations tasks to ensure that campaigns are implemented correctly and on time
  • Work directly with your clients to gather all necessary advertising assets and address any inquiries
  • Meet client KPI goals and contractual commitments
  • Assist with challenging client requests and issue escalations as needed
  • Analyze and prepare post campaign reports/decks for clients, and track performance in your clients’ third-party ad servers when applicable
  • Collaborate with the Sales team on account strategy and scheduling
  • Work closely with your salesperson to launch and manage campaign lifecycles
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to identify and grow opportunities within their territory
  • Assist Sales reps with pre-sale reporting as needed for customers with a short deadline or urgent need for data
  • Other related responsibilities and ad hoc projects as negotiated and needed to meet the ongoing needs of the company

ABOUT YOU

  • 1-3 years experience in online ad campaign management, preferably at a digital publisher or media agency
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Proven ability to provide professional and timely responses to client inquiries
  • Customer service experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Flexible and adaptable work ethic in fast paced environments
  • Customer-first mentality, with excellent relationship management and conflict resolution skills
  • Articulate and tactful business communication, writing, phone skills
  • Able to work within a team environment, cross-functionally, and autonomously
  • An outside-of-the-box problem solver
  • Intellectually curious, enthusiastic, cooperative
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Digital Media or a related field
