The Camp Services Support Coordinator will oversee all Camp Maintenance and Construction services for the Exploration/Mine camps, coordinating and directing the operations necessary to carry out the requirements of the company. The primary areas of focus for the Camp Services Support Coordinator will be planning, communication, supervision, safety management, departmental relations, administration and other high-level Supervisory responsibilities.
The Camps Support Services Coordinator will have Delegation of Authority in the absence of the Camp Operations Managers.
Key Accountabilities and Challenges
Operate within and observe all relevant and applicable laws of the country.
Carry out the administration of Construction works, Maintenance requests, grounds keeping and landscaping scheduling etc.
Regularly inspect all Camp facilities and audit inventory, supplies and equipment/assets.
Implement organizational policies, process, procedures and goals in accordance with company policies.
Ensures that all internal systems are being used effectively in accordance with company policy and procedure.
Monitor and analyse information and data systems and evaluate their performance to discover ways of enhancing them (new technologies, upgrades etc.)
Oversee site camp maintenance staff, including but not limited to, monitoring of worker movements, occupancy analysis etc.
Coach, mentor and develop staff, including overseeing new employee on boarding and providing career development planning and opportunities.
Empower employees to take responsibility for their jobs and goals. Delegate responsibility and expect accountability and regular feedback.
Carry out succession training and mentoring in order to handover the operation to the local national team.

Review all Scheduling of personnel under his/her direct Supervision, including shifts and rotations, in order to always maintain acceptable levels of service, including support for short-notice projects.

Inspect and audit in process and completed work to ensure work meets SOW and quality standards.
Plan, organize, prioritize, and perform multiple tasks under austere conditions to perform job functions in an orderly manner.
Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Education
o Completion of secondary school.
o Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
o NEBOSH or IOSH certificate or equivalent industry qualification.
Skills
o Excellent communication, project management and problem solving skills
o Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word and Excel, and working knowledge of MS Office and proficient in Spreadsheets would be advantageous.

Experience
o Five (3-5) years' Remote Site Operations & Maintenance (O&M) or Service oriented experience for a remote site, overseas, and/or military facility.
o Knowledge of SAP/ERP or Camps Software a plus Not Essential
o Five (3-5) years' supervisory experience.
o Experience with ERP systems, highly regarded.
o Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules.
o Cross-cultural sensitivity with an international perspective.
o Excellent organizational and time management skills.
o Contract / vendor management and monitoring experience.

Working Conditions
