Rugged Edge Holdings Ltd. is a trusted provider of operational and logistical support services to the mining and exploration industry. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality solutions in remote settings, including comprehensive camp operations and catering services.

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Camp Cook to join our team. This role is essential for preparing and serving high-quality, nutritious meals for camp personnel, ensuring that operations run smoothly in remote environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and prepare daily meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) for all camp staff, including special dietary requirements Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant camp kitchen in line with food safety standards Manage food ordering, inventory, and deliveries, coordinating with the operations and logistics team Prepare packed lunches for field crews as required Maintain proper storage and handling of food, ensuring temperature and safety standards are met Assist with cleaning and sanitizing of kitchen, dining, and storage areas Contribute to a positive camp environment through teamwork and adaptability Communicate with camp and site leadership regarding supplies, schedules, and kitchen operations

Qualifications & Requirements:

Experience as a camp cook, head cook, chef, or similar role in remote or industrial settings Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and safe food handling practices Ability to work long shifts and perform physically demanding tasks in a camp environment Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Flexibility and adaptability to work in remote, rotational environments

Work Conditions:

Rotational work schedule at remote camp locations Shared accommodations and all meals provided during rotation Exposure to variable weather conditions and camp environments Physically demanding work with long shifts in close quarters
