to join our growing McIlvenna Bay team. This is a full-time position based at the McIlvenna Bay site working a 4 -3 rotation (Monday to Thursday).

The
Camp & Administration Superintendent
plays a critical leadership role in ensuring the effective coordination and delivery of administrative services, including transportation, accommodation, catering, and document control. This role is responsible for optimizing business systems, leading administrative teams, and driving efficiency through strong project and change management practices. The Superintendent ensures all services align with organizational objectives, enhance the employee experience, and support overall business performance.
This position is ideal for a strong leader with camp experience, exceptional contract management skills, and a passion for team engagement and continuous improvement.
Job Responsibilities:
Optimize transportation and accommodation systems to ensure capacity, efficiency, and cost control.
Oversee camp-related contracts, ensuring compliance, quality, and value.
Champion document control strategy and ensure alignment with policies and regulations
Maintain secure, accessible, and compliant document control systems.
Supervise camp, catering, and accommodations to ensure a safe and positive employee experience.
Work with vendors and teams to improve camp services and standards.
Foster a respectful, inclusive camp culture that supports morale and enhances employee well-being.
Lead the camp committee and coordinate on-site activities.
Oversee administrative support across departments for efficient operations.
Apply best practices in office management and administration.
Drive process improvements through project management and financial analysis.
Track KPIs, report on results, and implement corrective actions.
Job Qualifications and Skills:
Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 5-7+ years of experience in administration, facilities/camp, or business services leadership roles.
Strong understanding of document control systems and standards.
Experience managing logistics for transportation and accommodation.
Proven ability to oversee service contracts and vendor performance.
Skilled in financial and data analysis to support business decisions.
Skilled in project and change management methodologies (PMP or PROSCI certification an asset).
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with cross-functional collaboration ability.
