Call Centre Supervisor Job description Travel Medicine & Vaccination Centre is a privately owned and operated company with 14 locations in BC. We have been providing our customers with travel health consultations, vaccinations, and other related medical services for over 25 years. If you have a passion for customer service and enjoy leading and working as a part of team, this is a role you are sure to enjoy. General Responsibilities:

  • Provide and maintain high level of customer service
  • Speaking with clients over phone in a polite and professional manner
  • Giving general information and booking appointments
  • Appointment reminders
  • Assisting co-workers from other parts of the province
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Monitor calls for quality of service and efficiency
  • Check clinic bookings for accuracy and spacing
  • Deal with on-line requests
  • Handle call escalations
  • Liaise with MOA\xe2\x80\x99s, nurses and consultants regarding clinics
  • Build teamwork within department
  • When required, take calls along with the staff on a daily basis
  • Monitor the employee schedule for efficient staffing
  • Ensure the staff is kept up to date on new information and policies
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Exceptional people skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Extremely detail oriented and self-directed
  • Strong computer skills, experience with booking/scheduling software an asset
  • Strong leadership skills
The ideal person:
  • Diploma in leadership and administration
  • Has at least 3 years office experience
  • High level of computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self motivated and able to take initiative and improve processes within the clinic
  • Strong team player
  • Well organized and calm under pressure
  • Strong ability to solve problem and multi task
  • Professional and solution orientated
  • Has a genuine interest in assisting and supporting office operations
Schedule:
  • 8-hour shift \xe2\x80\x93 7:30 am to 4:00 pm \xe2\x80\x93 one late shift per week and one Saturday per month (day in lieu given during the week)
Experience:
  • Administration: 3 years (required)
  • Leadership: 3 years (required)
