Must be available for at least 10 of the 11 days of the Calgary Stampede, Starting July 3rd until July 13th, 2025. Weekends are required as they are the busiest days of the fair.

Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Food Truck Staff to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for excellent customer service. As a member of our food truck team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving delicious food while ensuring a positive experience for our customers.

Duties

Prepare and serve food items in accordance with food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the food truck, including cooking areas and equipment. Handle cash transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and upselling menu items. Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed to maintain quality and safety. Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and reporting shortages. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation during busy service times.

Skills

Strong understanding of food safety practices and sanitation requirements. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing. Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Ability to upsell menu items to enhance customer experience. Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transaction processing. A proactive attitude towards teamwork and collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
