We are seeking a talented and creative Cake Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and decorating cakes, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics. Responsibilities

Decorate cakes according to customer specifications, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste. Collaborate with customers to understand their cake design preferences and requirements. Prepare cake batter, frosting, and other ingredients as needed for decoration. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety standards. Package finished cakes for delivery or display, ensuring they are secure and visually appealing. Assist in baking cakes and other baked goods as required by the kitchen team. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and taking special orders.

Skills

Proficient in cake decorating techniques, including fondant application, piping, and airbrushing. Strong baking skills with experience in preparing various types of cakes and desserts. Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety and quality in food preparation. Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients regarding their orders. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail. Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred but not required. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple orders and deadlines effectively.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00-$23.38 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
