As a Cake Decorator, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning cakes that meet our customers' specifications and expectations.

Duties

Design and decorate cakes for various occasions, including birthdays, weddings, and special events. Prepare cake batter and other ingredients in accordance with recipes and food safety standards. Collaborate with customers to understand their vision and preferences for cake designs. Ensure all cakes are packaged properly for delivery or display while maintaining quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the decorating area and kitchen equipment. Adhere to food safety regulations and best practices in handling ingredients. Assist with baking tasks as needed, including preparing other baked goods.

Skills

Proficient in cake decorating techniques, including fondant application, piping, and airbrushing. Previous experience in a restaurant or bakery setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation methods and cooking techniques. Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients. Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations. Experience working in a kitchen environment with an understanding of food industry standards. Baking skills are essential for creating high-quality products. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while managing individual tasks effectively.
