We are expanding our team and are looking for a passionate and skilled

Cake Decorator

to join us full-time.

Duties

Bake cakes, cupcakes, and other specialty baked goods as needed. Level, layer, fill, crumb coat, and ice cakes smoothly to Bittersweet Symphony standards. Create decorative elements including piping, flowers, chocolate work, fondant details, and custom designs. Follow customer design instructions and event briefs accurately. Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized workstation at all times. Label and store products according to FIFO and food safety standards. Ensure all products are prepared on time for pickups, deliveries, and events. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding workflow and order timelines. Assist in packaging and presentation of products to ensure high-quality customer experience.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of cake decorating experience

(wedding cakes, fondant, and custom designs preferred). Strong understanding of buttercream finishing, fondant work, and decorative techniques. Ability to work efficiently under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain quality. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, reliability, and team spirit. Food Handler's Certification is an asset (or willingness to obtain).

Schedule & Compensation

Full-Time:

40 hours per week
