We are seeking a talented and creative Cake Decorator and Customer Service Representative to join our bakery team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cake artistry, attention to detail, and experience in food preparation, Scooping and decorating. This role involves transforming baked goods into visually stunning desserts that delight our customers and elevate their special occasions. The Cake Decorator will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring all products meet quality standards and food safety regulations.

Duties

Decorate cakes, cupcakes, and other baked goods according to customer specifications and company standards Prepare cakes through baking, frosting, and assembling with precision and artistic flair Handle food safely by following proper food handling and sanitation procedures Package finished products for sale or delivery, ensuring presentation quality Maintain cleanliness of the decorating area and adhere to kitchen safety protocols Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including mixing, piping, and garnishing Collaborate with team members to ensure timely production and high-quality output Provide excellent customer service by discussing decoration options and addressing special requests

Qualifications

Proven experience in cake decorating, baking, or related food industry roles Strong skills in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices Knowledge of various decorating techniques using icing, fondant, piping tools, and edible decorations Previous restaurant or bakery experience is preferred Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent attention to detail and artistic ability to create visually appealing designs Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude Food handling certification or willingness to obtain certification is a plus
