:Are you someone who enjoys meeting new people and creating great guest experiences? We invite you to join our team at Shorelines Casino Peterborough as a Part-Time Cage Cashier! We are looking for an individual with honesty, integrity, professionalism, and excellent communication skills to join our team.Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Building strong working relationships with team members and guests
• Handling cash transactions including but not limited to foreign currency exchange, traveler\'s cheques, short pays, over payments, cash counts, coins and bills
• Monitoring and reporting all discrepancies and suspicious cash activities
• Redeeming value chips and gaming tickets for cash
• Verifying and processing machine fills, machine jackpots and cancelled credits
• Issuing opening floats to Slot Attendants (or others); reconciling closing floats
• Transferring and storing floats, keys and record keeping documents
• Documenting and reconciling transactions; may reconcile bank deposits and prepare revenue reports
• Complying with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
• Performing other duties as assigned or directed

Successful candidates will demonstrate the following qualifications:

• Legendary guest service skills with a \xe2\x80\x9cMake it Happen\xe2\x80\x9d attitude
• Understanding of yourself as well as others when communicating with team members and guests
• High School Diploma; post-secondary education an asset
• Minimum 1 year of experience in high volume cash handling
• The ability to successfully maintain or obtain an AGCO Category 2 Gaming Assistant license
