Responsibilities

Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and portion sizes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafeteria area, including dining tables, serving stations, and kitchen equipment. Assist in food handling and ensure compliance with food safety regulations. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting patrons, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation during busy meal periods. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to management. Participate in training sessions related to food preparation, safety protocols, and customer service best practices.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the restaurant or food service industry is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety standards is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with patrons. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or holidays as needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
