About the Role

We're looking for a

Team Lead (Events & Community)

to help bring the Bean Bag experience to life! You'll lead cafe shifts, support our team, and coordinate private and community events that make families feel truly welcome.

This is a hands-on role for someone who loves people, thrives in organized chaos (in the best way), and takes pride in creating smooth, joyful experiences. You'll work closely with our General Manager to uphold service standards and nurture a warm, connected space for families.

Responsibilities

Lead cafe operations during shifts, ensuring smooth service and guest satisfaction Support and coach baristas with warmth and clarity Manage daily opening/closing, cash-out, and cleanliness standards Coordinate private parties and events, ensuring every detail is handled Build relationships with guests and vendors before, during, and after events Support community programming and local partnerships Work hands-on as barista or play floor support when needed -- you lead by example

What You Bring

2+ years in cafe/hospitality roles Strong organizational and communication skills A calm, proactive approach to busy environments A passion for helping others feel welcome and valued Availability on weekends and holidays (our event peak times) Event planning and coordination experience (preferred but not required) Background check, FoodSafe and First Aid (employer will provide training if you do not have these)
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.50-$24.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
