Company descriptionJapanese-inspired Cafe located beside Royal Oak Skytrain Station. We feature bubble tea, house-baked creations, freshly made waffles, & simple meals.Job descriptionWe are looking for people preferably with cafe experience and availability during weekdays.Cafe staff responsibilities include educating customers on our drinks menu, making recommendations based on their preferences, up-selling special items and taking orders. The most important thing in this role is to be an excellent listener and communicator. You must also have an eye for detail.Responsibilities
- Greet customers as they enter
- Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preferences of coffee blend, dairy and sugar ratios)
- Prepare food and beverages following recipes
- Serve beverages and food
- Receive and process payments
- Cleaning and dishwashing
- Keep the kitchen clean
- Excellent communication & listening skills
- Previous work experience as a Barista is preferred
- Hands-on experience with brewing equipment
- Knowledge of sanitation regulations
- Flexibility to work various shifts. Preference given to those with weekday availability
- Ability to gauge customers' preferences

Customers are required to wear mask when entering the premises, ordering and picking up their order. All stations are cleaned and sanitized regularly.Application question(s):
