We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Cafe Manager to lead our team, oversee daily operations, and ensure an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate is passionate about coffee, food and customer service, with strong leadership skills and a knack for creating a fun, inclusive environment.

General Manager

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

: Oversee all cafe operations, including inventory management, vendor relations, and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Team Leadership

: Recruit, train, and manage a team of baristas and kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work culture.

Customer Experience

: Ensure every customer enjoys a memorable experience through excellent service, high-quality food, and a clean, inviting atmosphere.

Menu Oversight

: Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain consistent quality of coffee and food offerings.

Financial Management

: Monitor budgets, control costs, and drive sales through effective marketing and customer engagement strategies.

Community Engagement

: Build relationships with local customers and businesses to promote Killer Dog Kafe as a community hub.

Event Planning

: Organize and execute in-store events, such as open mic nights or themed food days, to boost customer engagement.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a managerial role within a cafe, restaurant, or similar hospitality setting. Strong knowledge of coffee preparation and food service best practices. Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and basic financial management. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Passion for creating a fun, inclusive, and community-driven environment. Food safety certification is a plus.
