We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Cafe Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations at our bustling cafe. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for food service, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences. Duties
Supervise daily cafe operations, including food preparation, cooking, and serving to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency
Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to foster a motivated and cohesive team
Oversee food safety and handling procedures in compliance with health regulations
Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely stock replenishment
Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure excellent customer service at all times
Conduct interviews and participate in hiring new team members with a focus on hospitality excellence
Maintain a welcoming environment that promotes teamwork, hospitality, and guest satisfaction
Implement restaurant management best practices to optimize workflow and profitability
Skills
Proven experience in food service, restaurant management, or hospitality industry roles such as hotel or barista experience
Strong leadership abilities with supervising experience in a fast-paced environment
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs effectively
Proficiency in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
Experience operating POS systems like Micros POS; cash handling expertise required
Knowledge of food industry regulations, food handling procedures, and kitchen safety protocols
Ability to manage team dynamics through interviewing, training, and performance management
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy cafe setting
