About Us:

Utopia Cafe Play is a family-friendly space where parents can unwind with quality coffee while their children enjoy safe and engaging play areas. We're seeking a dedicated and energetic Cafe Host to join our team, creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring smooth operations.

Responsibilities:

Guest Experience & Greeting

Welcome guests warmly and provide information about the cafe and play areas. Explain play area rules, cafe offerings, and answer any questions.

Coffee & Beverage Preparation

Craft high-quality coffee and espresso-based beverages. Follow cafe recipes to maintain consistency in flavors. Maintain coffee equipment and monitor ingredient stock levels.

Customer Service & Assistance

Assist guests with dietary requests and provide information on menu items. Ensure guests have a comfortable experience and address concerns professionally.

Event Support

Assist with event setup and post-event cleanup when needed. Direct event guests to their reserved space when available.

Handling Orders & Payments

Process orders, payments, and ensure special dietary requests are communicated. Deliver food and beverages efficiently with attention to detail.

Play Area Safety & Management

Supervise entry and exit to ensure only eligible children enter. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized space for families. Update venue capacity on Google Maps to reflect real-time availability.

Key Skills & Attributes:

? Ability to multitask in a fast-paced family-friendly environment.
? Attention to detail in maintaining hygiene and organization.
? Energy and patience when working with children and families.
? Basic understanding of health and safety protocols.
? Familiarity with the Square POS system.
? Bonus: Spanish-speaking skills.
