Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience

Daily duties

Greeting customers and taking orders:

Welcoming guests and seating them

Preparing and serving food and drinks:

Making and delivering beverages, and carrying food from the kitchen to the customer's table.

Table maintenance:

Checking in on customers during their meal, clearing dirty dishes, and wiping down tables to prepare them for new guests.

Customer service:

Being attentive to guest needs and handling any issues that arise to ensure a positive dining experience.
End-of-shift responsibilities

Closing tasks:

Performing cleaning duties in the cafe area as assigned.

Refilling supplies:

Restocking items

Cleaning:

Thoroughly cleaning the service stations, floors, and all customer tables.

Experience

Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred. Familiarity with food service operations is a plus, including knowledge of restaurant etiquette. Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with guests and team members. Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is advantageous but not mandatory. A background in hotel experience can enhance your candidacy for this position.
