About Us:

Bubbly Cup is a locally owned upcoming cafe startup, offering coffee, bubble tea, sweet treats and light snacks in a fine, cozy spot located in Saint John Uptown.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Cafe Supervisor to lead our team at a vibrant new cafe serving coffee, bubble tea, and sweet treats. The ideal candidate will have a background in a similar environment, strong leadership skills, baking expertise, and the flexibility to work rotating shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Cafe Manager and assistant manager in daily operations, including staff management, inventory control, and quality assurance. Train, supervise, and motivate staff to deliver outstanding customer service. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized environment. Monitor sales and assist in achieving financial targets through effective cost control and inventory management. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues to enhance their experience. Contribute to the development of new menu items and promotional activities. Assist in menu planning, preparation and baking

Qualifications:

Previous experience in the food and beverage industry, preferably in a supervisory role. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Leadership abilities with a focus on team development and motivation. Knowledge of operational procedures and financial management in a cafe environment. Excellent communication and organizational skills. A passion for coffee and cafe culture. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. Food safety certificate is required.
