Here's what you'll be doing as a Barista:

As a Cafe barista you will work behind the counter, greeting customers, making specialty coffees and beverages, and filling orders of baked goods. In your downtime you will be responsible for re-stocking, washing dishes and completing any other tasks required. We are looking for customer focused, outgoing individuals who will create a positive first and last impression for each guest!

Duties and Responsibilities:Open/close the Cafe counter Make beverages according to Stella's specs Greet guests and assist in answering questions Enter all items into the POS System and ensure all payment transactions are accounted for accurately Offer suggestions, providing guests with enough information to have the best experience possible Replenish baked goods and retail items to maintain full stock on display Maintain up-to-date working knowledge of Cafe menu items, including dietary and allergy restrictions Answer the phone and ensure the accuracy of all special orders Follow all cleaning checklists, to ensure a sanitary and welcoming environment Deliver drinks to tables when needed Maintain daily par list Ensure that production times are maintained Follow all takeout and cash handling procedures Adhere to food safe requirements Other duties as assigned

QuaIifications:


Availability to work weekendsExcellent communication skills Firm understanding of the English language Outstanding organization, coordination, and multi-tasking abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Great people skills, having a friendly and outgoing demeanour Positive attitude and team mindset
