Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and customer service, providing an exceptional experience for our guests. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the workspace, and ensuring that all food safety standards are met.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages according to established recipes. Assist customers with menu selections and provide recommendations based on their preferences. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change. Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the quality and safety of all food products. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to proper food handling procedures. Monitor inventory levels of supplies and communicate needs to management. Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.

Requirements

Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required. Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing. Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations is a plus. Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards customers and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed. A passion for coffee and willingness to learn about different brewing methods and beverage preparation techniques.
