Job Description
Position Summary -
The Cafe Attendant is responsible to take orders, fill drinks, accept payment and put food and beverage orders together. Cafe Attendant are also in charge of keeping their area neat and tidy, filling straws, napkins, utensils and condiments and wiping down drink stations, as well as clearing and cleaning tables.Pay for this position is $17.85/hr. Part-time or full-time positions available.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve hot or cold beverages, such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, or teas.
Wrap, label, or date food items for sale
Display knowledge of the food menu
Must listen and respond to customer complaints (acknowledge, apologize, act)
Input all customer orders into the POS system
Use, maintain and clean concession area(s) and equipment
Receive payment for all services provided to the customer
Clear and clean tables after guests have finished.
Co-operate and accept other assignments as and when required.
Minimum Qualifications & Skills:
POS system experience is regarded as an asset
Ability to work within strict time deadlines.
Ability to work within a team and as an individual efficiently.
Some minor lifting may be required
Ability to work in an extremely fast paced environment
Excellent customer service skills
