Join our dynamic team as a CAD Drafter/Designer, where your creativity and technical expertise will shape the future of design! In this role, you will collaborate with engineers and architects to produce detailed drawings and plans using cutting-edge software. Your contributions will be vital in transforming concepts into reality, ensuring projects are executed flawlessly from start to finish.

What you'll do

Create precise 2D and 3D models using AutoCAD, Revit, and SolidWorks to bring designs to life. Develop detailed schematics and drafting documents for construction projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Utilize SketchUp and NavisWorks for visualization and project coordination, enhancing communication among team members. Collaborate closely with project managers and engineers to refine designs based on feedback and project requirements. Conduct mechanical design work, focusing on functionality and efficiency while adhering to project timelines. Engage in regular quality checks of drawings to maintain accuracy and consistency throughout the design process. Assist in the preparation of construction documents, including specifications and material lists for various projects. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in CAD technology to continuously improve design practices.

Basic qualifications

Proficient in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, SolidWorks, Civil 3D, SketchUp, NavisWorks, and 2D animation tools. Strong understanding of drafting principles and construction processes. Excellent attention to detail with a passion for delivering high-quality work.

Preferred qualifications

Previous experience in mechanical design or related fields is highly desirable. Familiarity with building codes and regulations relevant to drafting and design. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
