Type of position

ADW is seeking a Computer Aided Design (CAD) Automation Technologist for a Full-time Hybrid role in Aurora, ON.

Responsibilities

Using existing design automation tools to generate 3D models and blueprints Debugging and Troubleshooting existing design automation tools Updating existing design automation tools, as necessary Participating in system development discussions to help direct User Interface and Functionality Requirements Collaborating with CAD Automation Engineers and Programmers to develop new design automation tools to solve unique challenges

Qualifications

Proficiency in SolidWorks computer-aided design (CAD) software

Post-secondary education in Mechanical/Structural Engineering or Engineering Technology (degree or diploma) or equivalent hands-on experience

Experience in creating fabrication and construction/ installation drawings Knowledge of design engineering principles Previous work experience in architectural, industrial steel, mechanical design, or energy sector projects is a plus

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
