Job Summary

We're looking for a

skilled and motivated CAD Designer / Technologist

to join our engineering team. You'll work closely with the Product Development Manager to design, document, and improve our product line. This role also supports production with build-ready documentation and hands-on troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Create and update detailed CAD designs and documentation Improve existing product designs and maintain CAD standards Support production with clear drawings and shop floor assistance Collaborate with engineering, sales and manufacturing teams

Qualifications

Diploma in Mechanical Design or Technologist Certification 3+ years of CAD design experience Advanced proficiency in

SOLIDWORKS

(parts, assemblies, weldments, sheet metal, drawings, PDM) Experience with

reverse engineering

using measurement tools Familiarity with

ERP systems

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Excellent communication and time management skills Knowledge of manufacturing techniques (machining, sheet metal, castings) Valid

Driver's Licence

Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with

heavy machinery

Ability to read and produce

hydraulic and electrical schematics

FEA simulation experience Visualization / rendering skills
