We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Structured Wiring installation team in Halifax, NS. Having had direct or related technical experience, you would be responsible for installing and troubleshooting voice, data and Wireless networks. You have the ability to lead projects and possess excellent customer relation and organizational skills. This position offers training and advancement opportunities. Previous experience with terminating and troubleshooting fiber optic cable also an asset. Structured Cabling Technician Duties: \xc2\xb7 Install Structured Cabling \xc2\xb7 Install Structured Cabling Support System \xc2\xb7 Terminate Structured Cabling at the end user location \xc2\xb7 Terminate Structured Cabling at the Communication Room location \xc2\xb7 Test Structured Cabling with results and download to the test station i.e. Fluke \xc2\xb7 Label properly all the components of a Structured Cabling infrastructure \xc2\xb7 Produce As built documents and accurate Closing Project Documents \xc2\xb7 Troubleshoot Cabling Problems \xc2\xb7 Evaluate Equipment and Hardware requirements for projects and work orders \xc2\xb7 Provide on the job training when required \xc2\xb7 Other duties as assigned by Management The additional Qualifications below considered a definite asset: Experience with, or knowledge of telephone systems, wireless, Audio visual or Nurse call systems considered beneficial. Candidates with a valid CCS certification preferred.
