We are seeking
experienced Cable Technicians and Installers
to join our specialized medical team, supporting the installation and integration of advanced medical imaging and diagnostic equipment at hospitals and healthcare facilities throughout Ontario and across Canada. You will play a critical role in the installation and integration of large medical systems -- including MRI, CT, X-ray, ultrasound, and related imaging or diagnostic equipment -- at these hospitals, clinics, and healthcare facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, route, and terminate complex
data, control, and power cables
for large medical systems (e.g., MRI, CT, PET, and X-ray machines).
Support delivery, placement, and assembly of sensitive hospital imaging equipment.
Assist with system setup, mounting, and alignment.
Work closely with Project Manager, fellow team members and facility staff to ensure safe and compliant installations.
Read and interpret wiring diagrams, cable schematics, and installation plans.
Perform quality checks and ensure all installations meet safety, electrical, and healthcare standards.
Maintain accurate installation records, labeling, and reporting documentation.
Travel to hospitals and healthcare sites across Ontario and occasionally other provinces.
Ensure all work meets
all safety and manufacturer standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum
2 years of experience
in cable installation or field service (medical, data, or industrial systems preferred).
Familiarity with
medical imaging systems
,
industrial electronics
, or
large-scale data/signal cabling
is a strong asset.
Working knowledge of
fiber optic cabling
standards and practices.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Ability to lift, move, and position heavy equipment safely (up to 50 lbs).
Ability to read and interpret wiring and installation schematics.
Valid
G-Class Driver's License
with clean driving record.
Ability to travel within Ontario and across Canada as needed.
Willingness to be away from home up to a week at a time on installation projects.
