Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cable Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of cable systems, ensuring high-quality service delivery to our clients. This role requires a strong understanding of networking principles, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work with various tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and troubleshoot cable systems for telecommunication services. Work with low voltage wiring and Ethernet connections to ensure proper functionality. Utilize hand tools and electrical equipment safely and effectively during installations. Configure and set up Cisco routers as part of network installations. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Document installation processes and maintain accurate records of work performed.

Skills

Proficiency in computer networking concepts and practices. Knowledge of telephone systems and their installation requirements. Strong mechanical knowledge to handle various installation tasks effectively. Familiarity with Cisco routers and their configuration for network setups. Experience in telecommunication installations, including low voltage wiring techniques. Ability to work with Ethernet systems for data transmission. Competence in using hand tools for installation tasks. Understanding of electrical principles related to cable installation.
