The Opportunity:



We are seeking a skilled and motivated

Cabinet Shop Manager

to lead our in-house production team. This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our cabinetry shop, ensuring efficient workflows, maintaining quality standards, and actively contributing hands-on to the production of custom pieces. You'll supervise a small but growing team, coordinate schedules and resources, and help guide the shop through continued growth and refinement. This role is ideal for a journeyman-level cabinetmaker with leadership experience who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:



Lead and support a small shop team to manufacture high-end cabinetry and millwork for residential and commercial projects. Plan and manage daily shop schedules to meet deadlines and production goals. Organize workflows to optimize output while maintaining the highest quality craftsmanship. Maintain a positive, respectful, and safety-conscious workplace culture. Perform hands-on cabinet making, particularly specialty pieces (e.g., angled panels, radiused features, or custom elements). Review project drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate execution of designs. Collaborate with designers, project managers, and installers to align on technical details and job specifications. Operate and maintain woodworking machinery including CNCs, table saws, panel saws, and edge banders. Ensure proper maintenance of shop equipment and adherence to health and safety standards. Track materials and supplies, anticipating needs to keep production flowing smoothly.

Nice to have:



Experience with Mozaik software and other CAD tools to assist in planning, layout, and adjustments.

Qualifications:



5+ years of experience in custom cabinetmaking, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity. Deep understanding of cabinetry manufacturing, installation processes, and millwork standards. Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural drawings, shop drawings, and blueprints. Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong verbal and written English communication skills are required for safety, coordination, and leadership. Positive, team-focused attitude with a strong sense of accountability and pride in craftsmanship. Valid Class 5 Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle for occasional errands or material pickups. Physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting materials as needed.

Nice To Have:



Experienced with Mozaik software and general CAD tools; able to interface with CNC workflows.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 - 50 per week
