Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking and carpentry, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role involves crafting custom cabinets, performing installations, and ensuring high-quality finishes. The Cabinet Maker will work closely with clients and other tradespeople to deliver exceptional results on various projects.

Duties

Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications Construct cabinets using various materials, ensuring precision and quality craftsmanship Perform cabinet installation at client locations, ensuring proper fit and finish Utilize hand tools, power tools, and CNC machinery for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials Conduct restoration work on existing cabinetry as needed Collaborate with other trades such as plumbing, electrical, masonry, and flooring installation to complete projects efficiently Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols Assist in construction estimating for projects to ensure accurate budgeting

Qualifications

Proven experience in carpentry, woodworking, or related fields Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of construction schematics Familiarity with cabinet installation techniques and restoration processes Experience with heavy lifting and operating various hand tools and power tools Knowledge of construction painting, caulking, siding, roofing, rebar installation, tile laying, and flooring installation is a plus Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work consistently Excellent problem-solving skills and maintenance person experience is advantageous Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
