Overview


We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking and carpentry, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can create high-quality cabinets and furniture while ensuring adherence to design specifications. The Cabinet Maker will work with various materials and tools, contributing to both new projects and restoration efforts.

Responsibilities



Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications. Construct, assemble, and install cabinets according to design plans. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and CNC machinery for precise cutting and shaping of materials. Perform restoration work on existing cabinetry as needed. Ensure quality control throughout the manufacturing process by inspecting finished products for accuracy and craftsmanship. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Assist in construction estimating for project planning purposes. Engage in heavy lifting as required during assembly and installation processes.

Requirements



Proven experience in carpentry, woodworking, or related fields is essential. Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of construction schematics. Experience with cabinet installation and restoration processes is highly desirable. Ability to operate manufacturing equipment effectively. if know CNC machines that is bonus. Strong knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in cabinet making and general construction tasks. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Previous maintenance person experience is a plus; ability to perform tasks across multiple trades including construction painting is beneficial. Physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods during work hours. Pay: $21.00-$35.00 per hour
