is looking for

Cabinet Installers



Working out of our Coquitlam location, this position will be responsible for the removal, repair and re-installation of water damaged kitchen and bathroom cabinets. Damaged cabinets are removed from site and brought back to our in-house repair facility where you will assess damages and perform the necessary rebuild or repair, followed by an onsite re-installation. You will be joining a growing team of professionals delivering a high level of customer service and quality workmanship. To succeed in this role, you will foster good working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders while meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

Duties and Responsibilities



Ensure all work is performed according to WorkSafe BC Regulations Identify damaged cabinets requiring removal for repair Document existing cabinet layout prior to removal Assess cabinets in shop and document required repairs Prepare lists of required material and hardware Prepare cut lists for production Installation of laminate and veneer Fabricate custom cabinets including routing custom millwork Onsite removal and Installation of kitchen / bathroom cabinets and countertops Complete and submit all required documentation in an accurate and legible manner, including all supporting documents. Safely operate a company vehicle using good judgment, abiding by all traffic laws Attend all division meetings and training sessions as required Meet company protocols for attendance and punctuality

Qualifications



Education and Experience

3 years finish carpentry / joinery experience Experience installing laminates and veneers Red Seal Carpenter an asset Experience fabricating and installing cabinets and countertops Experience with stains and finishes an asset Valid Class 5 BC drivers' license with a clean abstract Clean criminal record (background check will be required)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of construction processes and procedures Strong Customer Service skills Ability to demonstrate professional knowledge and use of in shop / onsite tools and equipment Able to follow safety protocols including the use of appropriate PPE Ability to sketch layouts, interpret blueprints and specifications Physically capable of lifting and carrying a minimum of 50 lbs. Provide your own hand tools (larger tools and equipment provided) Ability to write, speak and understand English fluently Ability to work well alone or in a team environment

Working Conditions

Your time will be spent on jobsites throughout the Lower Mainland and in the fabrication shop Company provided PPE must be worn as required Employee provided CSA safety footwear must be worn at all times This is an hourly position; rate is commensurate with experience Some overtime may be required during peak business periods
