Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Installation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various systems, including security and telecommunications equipment. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Install and configure security systems, including CCTV and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS). Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate installation of equipment. Utilize hand tools and electrical equipment safely and effectively during installations. Conduct routine maintenance checks on installed systems to ensure optimal performance. Detect issues with equipment functionality and perform necessary repairs or adjustments. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. Telecommunicate with team members for project updates, troubleshooting, and support as needed. Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and service calls.

Experience

Proven experience in installation or maintenance roles related to electrical systems or telecommunications is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with computer hardware and software related to installed systems. Familiarity with industry standards for safety practices when working with electrical components. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents effectively. Experience working with CCTV systems is a plus but not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.66-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
