Overview

As a

Cabin Cleaner

at Idylwylde Cabins in Clear Lake, you'll be a key part of the guest experience by ensuring each cabin is spotless, well-stocked, and ready for incoming visitors. Your work directly impacts guest satisfaction and repeat business. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and requires reliability--especially on weekends when turnover volume is highest.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of cabins after guest check-out (dusting, vacuuming, wiping surfaces, cleaning bathrooms, kitchen areas, etc.). Restock linens, toiletries, and other guest supplies to standard. Inspect cabins for damage or maintenance issues and report them promptly. Remove and dispose of trash and recyclables according to property procedures. Ensure cabins meet cleanliness and presentation standards before guest arrival. Assist with light exterior tidying (e.g., sweeping entryways, checking porches) as needed. Communicate effectively with the operations team about turnover status, supply needs, or unusual findings. Follow safety and hygiene protocols consistently.

Requirements

Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering consistently high standards. Ability to work independently, manage time, and handle multiple cabins during busy periods. Physical stamina to lift/move linens, garbage bins, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks. Reliable availability, with emphasis on weekend shifts--dependability is critical. Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues. Comfort working outdoors in varying weather (for light exterior tasks) and adapting to changing turnover schedules. No experience needed.
