Paladin Security is Hiring a By-Law Guard!:

Paladin Security Group is seeking dedicated and professional individuals to join our team as By-Law Guards at Loyalist College. This is a great opportunity for those looking to gain experience in law enforcement, security, or by-law enforcement while serving the community in a meaningful way.



Monday - Friday | 08:00 - 15:00 (no evenings or weekends)

Payrate:

$18.54/hour

What You'll Do::

Enforce the parking by-law regulations of Loyalist College Patrol all campus parking lots twice daily Issue parking tickets for violations (e.g., unauthorized parking, no pass, fire route, handicap spot misuse, improper carpool, or parking on grass) Record and upload all tickets and documentation at the end of your shift Carry a radio for communication and safety; testify in court if required Perform duties independently and remain professional in all weather conditions

Requirements:

Must Have Criteria::

Valid Security License for the province of Ontario Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C (from a WSIB-approved vendor) Must not be a current Loyalist College student Fluency in English (oral and written) Legally authorized to work in Canada

Nice to Have (Optional)::

French (oral and written) fluency Previous experience in security, by-law, or parking enforcement Certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB) Ability to commute to Kingston for Paladin's 2-day in-class training if required Willingness to commit to a 6-month term after certification
