Position Overview:

As a Buyer at [Company Name], you will play a pivotal role in our procurement department. Your responsibilities will include sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials and components required for our manufacturing processes. You will collaborate closely with suppliers, production teams, quality and engineering to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure they meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
- Manage supplier relationships, track supplier performance, and drive continuous improvement.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and ensure adequate inventory levels.
- Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and industry regulations.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive supplier database.
- Resolve supply chain issues and address discrepancies in a timely manner.

- Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in procurement or purchasing roles within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.

- Post Secondary education in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in procurement or purchasing roles within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Proficiency in MRP software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
