As a Meat Cutter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our meat department meets the highest standards of quality and safety while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Perform meat cutting and trimming tasks with precision and skill, ensuring high-quality presentation of products. Prepare various cuts of meat according to customer specifications and store standards. Package and label meat products accurately for display and sale. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, adhering to food safety regulations. Assist customers with inquiries, providing knowledgeable recommendations on meat selections. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations within the meat department.

Qualifications

Proven experience in food production or preparation, preferably within the food industry or culinary environment. Strong knife skills and experience in meat cutting techniques. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations related to handling and processing meat products. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A commitment to quality, safety, and hygiene standards in all aspects of work. Pay: $17.20-$20.50 per hour
