Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Meat Cutter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of food safety practices. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for cutting, trimming, and preparing various types of meat products while ensuring the highest quality standards. You will also play a vital role in providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

Cut, trim, and prepare meat products according to specifications and customer requests. Ensure all meat is handled safely and in compliance with food safety regulations. Package meat products for display or sale, ensuring proper labeling and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and work areas, adhering to sanitation standards. Assist customers with their meat selections, providing knowledgeable recommendations and exceptional service. Monitor inventory levels of meat products and communicate needs to management as necessary. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations within the food industry environment.

Requirements

Proven experience in meat cutting or butchering is preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety practices. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with food handling procedures and regulations within the food industry. Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed. A team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
