Raw Pet Food Production Worker

Red Dog Raw Food Company

has been a pioneer in the manufacturing of raw food for dogs and cats for over 20 years. Their HACCP certified manufacturing facility located in Port Coquitlam is experiencing significant growth. We are looking for an individual to support our food production line. This position would entail working with our production team on a variety of tasks including handling raw meat, operating our grinders, band-saw, labelling packages and picking and packing orders.

Be aware this is a cold environment, the production room is refrigerated and requires working in a -30 C blast freezer for periods of time.

What you bring to Red Dog Deli:

Good disposition; friendly, approachable and positive attitude. Minimum 2 years experience in a food manufacturing capacity. Experience with meat processing equipment. Ensuring safety is top of mind, for you and your co-workers. Curiosity to learn new things and take on new challenges. The ability to lift 40-50 lbs consistently and work in a HAACP certified food facility.

Work hours are Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
