Summary

We are seeking a skilled Butcher to join our team at The Butcher. In this role, you will be responsible for cutting, preparing, and packaging high-quality meats while delivering outstanding customer service. Your expertise will help us maintain our reputation as the premier specialty meat provider in the area.

Responsibilities

Cut and prepare various types of meat according to customer specifications. Ensure all meat products are handled and stored safely in compliance with food safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their selections and answering questions about products. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the butcher shop and work areas. Package meat products attractively for display and sale. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and high-quality standards.

Requirements

Proven experience as a butcher or in a similar role within the food industry. Strong knowledge of meat cutting techniques and food safety practices. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Basic kitchen skills and knowledge of food preparation are an asset.
