We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee and coordinate food industry projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and services. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of food preparation processes, and a commitment to food safety standards. This role involves managing cross-functional teams, maintaining operational efficiency, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective program execution.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage multiple food-related projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards
Coordinate with kitchen staff, suppliers, and clients to facilitate seamless food preparation, meat cutting, and packaging operations
Oversee food handling procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices
Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in food production and packaging workflows
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and packaging materials, coordinating procurement as needed
Ensure all team members are trained on food safety protocols, proper equipment use, and hygiene standards
Maintain detailed documentation of project progress, quality control reports, and compliance records
Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement
Experience
Proven experience in the food industry with a focus on food preparation, butchery, or kitchen operations
Strong background in food handling, meat cutting, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards
Experience in customer service within a culinary or food production setting is preferred
Prior management or supervisory experience in a kitchen or food processing environment is highly desirable
Knowledge of packaging processes related to food products and familiarity with kitchen equipment is advantageous
