As a Business Unit Marketing Manager at Optel, you will lead the development and execution of the marketing strategy for your assigned product line, ensuring alignment with global marketing objectives. You will be the primary point of contact for Business Unit leaders, collaborating closely with Product Management, Demand Generation, Regional Growth Marketers, and Sales Teams to integrate marketing priorities with business goals. Your role will drive the creation of solution-specific messaging, go-to-market strategies, content development to maximize market impact and revenue growth.You will be responsible for defining and communicating product positioning, narratives, and key messaging that articulate Business value proposition. You will ensure cross-functional collaboration to maintain cohesive branding, optimize lead generation efforts and strategy, and drive measurable results. Your insights into market trends, competition, and customer needs will be instrumental in shaping marketing strategies that enhance Optelxe2x80x99s presence and influence in key industries.Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Drive go-to-market strategy, messaging frameworks, and brand positioning specific to the business unit across key regions and customer segments.
  • Define and refine product positioning, value propositions, and key narratives to effectively communicate the business unitxe2x80x99s offerings across all marketing channels.
  • Collaborate with the Demand Generation team to create targeted campaigns that drive lead generation, pipeline acceleration, and customer engagement.
  • Work closely with the sales team to develop compelling sales enablement materials, including presentations, brochures, and case studies, ensuring alignment with customer needs.
  • Work closely with the sales team and product managers to align campaigns with the commercial pipeline and product roadmap.
  • Oversee the creation of thought leadership content, PR initiatives, and external communications related to the business unit, maintaining brand consistency and strategic focus.
  • Identify and analyze new market opportunities, competitor activities, and industry trends to inform marketing strategies and ensure a competitive advantage.
  • Support event marketing efforts, including trade shows, and speaking engagements, by providing strategic input and ensuring consistent messaging.
  • Manage marketing budgets for the business unit, ensuring efficient allocation of resources aligned with strategy.
  • Own the following traction channels: Content Marketing, Speaking engagement, Targeted outreach, Webinars, Sponsorship-Membership, PR.
Required Skills:
  • Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong expertise in brand positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy across multiple regions and business units.
  • Guide content creation and ensure the message is impactful.
  • Experience in managing PR and corporate communication efforts to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms (e.g., Pardot) and CRM (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Strong visionary skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a creative approach.
  • Bilingualism in English and French (content writing in English, interactions with global clients, etc.).
