ADGA requires the services of a Cloud Technical Architect who currently holds a Reliability level Government of Canada clearance.

Tasks:

• Develop technical architectures, functional analysis frameworks and strategies, either for an organization or for a major application area, to meet the business and application requirements;
• Identify policies and requirements that drive out a particular solution;
• Analyze and evaluate alternative technology solutions to meet business problems;
• Ensure the integration of all aspects of technology solutions;
• Evaluate software relative to their ability to support specified requirements and, by determining potential and actual bottlenecks, and improve system performance through recommended changes;
• Review computer software systems and data requirements as well as communication and response needs and determine operating systems and languages needed to support them;
• Assist with the development of a system solution, including the execution and delivery of that solution into production;
• Be responsible for system design to ensure that the target applications in the technical architecture will meet non-functional requirements; and
• Perform other related services.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Microsoft Azure Cloud environment;
• Experience providing guidance on the set-up of the Cloud architecture for IaaS and SaaS and connectivity between the two types of services;
• Experience providing guidance on the set-up of the necessary environments;
• Experience providing guidance on the set-up of:
• Requested accounts with Admin/Sudo access
• Requested accounts with normal access
• Requested accounts with access to reboot servers in Azure Portal

• Experience providing guidance on the amount of computing power required (cores, memory, data drive size, Operating System); and
• Experience providing guidance on the \xe2\x80\x9cpackaging\xe2\x80\x9d of the software for installation for the Cloud.

Additional Information

• Must be eligible to obtain a Reliability level Security Clearance.
