Our Business Systems Analysts play a crucial function within the organization. They act as subject matter experts in analyzing information systems problems for a project or business area, and in developing systems solutions to identified issues through research and workflow analysis.

They participate regularly in making recommendations to management and project teams regarding process changes and solution design; they also participate in planning meetings and provide documentation of all information pertaining to business requirements. They define objectives based on user needs, industry requirements and an understanding of business rules.

Our Business Systems Analysts are passionate about providing support for users of information systems; and working closely with different areas of the business. They are responsible for ensuring testing of the application for the final release into production.

You're great at:

Managing multiple demands and changing priorities.

Taking initiative in identification of potential projects.

Recognizing unrelated problems and implement an appropriate solution within established guidelines.

Organizing, interpreting, and applying data from a variety of sources.

Interacting with the business and technology stakeholders in clear and courteous manner.

Making decisions and solving problems, with sound judgement.

You have:

Post-secondary education in a related field (i.e. Computer Science, Business Administration) or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum 3-5 years of BA experience, using Use Case Methodology, working in a technology environment.

Strong knowledge of Duck Creek policy system

Experience working within an Agile environment is an asset

Knowledge of insurance, business, and technical areas; Property and Casualty Insurance experience an asset.

Knowledge of web analytics is considered an asset; HTML preferred
