As a Business Strategist with Calgary Housing (CH), you will play a key role in advancing Calgary Housing's strategic and operational objectives by supporting high-priority initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness, housing outcomes, and resident experience.
Reporting to the Leader, Engagement & Special Projects, you will advance divisional strategy, performance measurement, and special projects that drive innovation and improve service delivery. Acting as a bridge between policy, planning, data, and implementation, you will translate strategic goals into actionable insights and foster collaboration across teams. You will contribute to business planning, analytics, and research while supporting culture-building and change initiatives aligned with Calgary Housing's vision - that every resident has an opportunity to thrive. Primary duties include:
Lead and support divisional business planning, strategic alignment, and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) tracking.
Conduct research, environmental scans, and data analysis to inform decisions.
Design and manage performance dashboards and reporting tools.
Coordinate and deliver special projects that strengthen programs, systems, and resident outcomes.
Identify and implement improvements using data, insights, and best practices.
Support change management and engagement activities to build organizational readiness.
Develop clear, compelling reports and communications for senior leadership and interested parties.
