:Job SummaryThe Business Relationship Manager (BRM) will play a crucial role in creating and establishing a new function within our organization. This individual will collaborate with Solutions Delivery, Technology and business unit leaders to develop the responsibilities for the role, while simultaneously performing these duties. The BRM will iterate and improve the role based on feedback from the business.
Duties & Responsibilities

  • Gain a deep understanding of business processes, goals, and objectives to anticipate and address the needs of the business.
  • Act as a liaison and serve as the primary point of contact between the business units, IT, Solution Architect and other service providers to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to develop and implement strategic plans that support the business units objectives.
  • Build, foster and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, project managers, and external partners.
  • Facilitate regular meetings and communication between business units and service providers to ensure transparency and alignment.
  • Ensure that services delivered by IT or other departments meet the agreed-upon standards and expectations of the business.
  • Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise between the business and service providers in a timely and effective manner.
  • Monitor the performance of services and solutions to ensure they meet business requirements and performance standards.
  • Identify and analyze opportunities for process improvements and enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Perform regular reviews with the business on benefit realization after completion of projects.
  • Develop and deliver regular reports on service performance, value realization, and other key metrics to business leaders.
  • Collaborate closely with the Business Analyst (BA) to ensure that strategic business needs are accurately captured, analyzed, and translated into clear requirements and effective solutions.
  • Actively participate in Porter\xe2\x80\x99s Safety Management System (SMS), including reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understand, comply and promote the Company Safety Policy.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Business Relationship Manager or similar role
  • Bachelor degree in a related discipline.
  • Previous Consulting or client service delivery experience preferred
  • Strong ability to build trust and influence others
  • Teamwork mindset \xe2\x80\x93 ability to successfully interact with individuals within and outside of the organization
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-Starter \xe2\x80\x93 Possess initiative and able to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Travel/Aviation experience is an asset
  • Experience in finance is an asset
