In this pivotal role, your first responsibility will be to conduct business analysis activities for the multi-year, multi-phase NG911 project, shaping the future of emergency communication systems. You will be responsible for requirements gathering, the analysis of improvements, identification of system gaps, system testing with stakeholders, problem resolutions with stakeholders and vendors, and supporting the implementation of the new system.Once this transformative project wraps up, you\'ll be at the forefront of designing and implementing business analysis strategies for upcoming initiatives and systems within our Operations division. Your role will involve closely collaborating with key stakeholders to identify and define business needs, develop detailed project plans, and analyze both current and future states. This role will require the ability to analyze both current and future states to design and implement recommended improvements and new capabilities across operational process and technology solutions.In this position, your ability to build strong relationships will be crucial as you manage interactions with various groups while solving multiple issues simultaneously. Exceptional communication skills are essential, as you will be responsible for delivering superior service to both internal and external partners.   • A professional Senior Business Analyst with demonstrated competencies executing with IIBA and/or PMI BA methodologies to deliver results?

What you will need:
  • Completion of a university degree or diploma in business, computer science, or engineering with a technology focus, plus sound related experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Certificate in business analysis from the IIBA or PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) will be considered a definite asset
  • 7 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a Business Analyst or similar role
  • Required Police Security Clearance applicable to the position must be acquired and maintained
SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:As a condition of employment at E-Comm, the required Police Security Clearance applicable to the position must be acquired and maintained. This is a process carried out by our law enforcement partner agencies, facilitated by E-Comm. The minimum residency in Canada to qualify for this position, as established by our law enforcement partner agencies, is 5 years.To qualify for this process, a candidate may be either a Canadian Permanent Resident or Canadian Citizen.   • Wage/Salary: PG29: $52.19 - $61.74 hourly / $108,555.20 - $128,419.20 (2024 rates)
